Hello! I'm Clarke Robinson, a product designer, educator, and team builder. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The most important thing to me is caring about people. As a designer, this manifests itself in two ways: delivering products that help improve people's lives, and creating team cultures where everyone involved can do their best possible work.
Most recently, I was a product design manager at Kantata, where I designed tools that helped professional service organizations utilize AI and automation to run their business more effectively.
Before that, I worked at Ten-X, designing machine learning powered applications for the commercial real estate industry.
Prior to that, I was at Reverb (not the online marketplace for used musical instruments), working on consumer mobile and B2B web apps that used natural language processing to create connections between ideas and people.
Reverb was later acquired by NDN (News Distribution Network) and rebranded as Inform.
When we're not working, my wife and I enjoy travel (both local and international), food (both cooking and dining), attending live theater, and reading.
Music remains my most persistent hobby. I've spent time writing reviews of high-end audio equipment, designing electronic musical instruments, and continue to perform a few times each year in the Bay Area's vibrant experimental music scene (photo by Matt Biddulph).
I've been a serious photographer since my teens, but aerial photography is new, and a fascinating way of seeing the familar from a new perspective.
